| A folding screen came to my mind too, but be sure it's sits soundly on the floor. Sometimes, plush carpeting can make this choice unstable. A free standing bookcase is another option if it's stable and you can use it for additional storage. It will act as a wall. Keep in mind that shelving units aren't always standard bookcases. Some have cube or random cutouts in which to place art, books, baskets, picture frames, etc..BTW, DIY room screens can be fashioned by hinging doors or tall shutters together in a zig zag configuration by alternating the direction of pairs or three sets of hinges between to pairs of doors or shutters.
If a curtain treatment is doable with tie backs, that may be another option. If your headboard is large/tall and the room layout and size can accomodate it, placing the bed's headboard backed to the sink can create a division also. |

| nouvang2: I have the same floor plan with the sink in the bedroom along with a mirror, next to the bath in a separate space with the toilet and shower! What was the builder thinking!
I don't like it either and have yet found a way to hide it. But one other house in the neighborhood with the same floor plan has curtains (as Froo Froo suggested)hung and it looked good.
