Help with girls room! Sign In/Join

I am trying to create a "big girl" room for my 3 year old. I bought this rug and I love it, but now I have no idea what to do with the rest of the room. I want the room to still be light and fun, and I'm afraid this rug might be too much? Plus I could use advice on bedding. I would welcome ANY advice to create a fun room for my daughter!

Cute rug. I usually suggest starting with the rug, so you already have that conquered. The colours of the bedding ought to be easy to find, especially if you consider using some solid and some pattern. I suggest you take a look at http://www.pinterest.com/. There are thousands of ideas there that you can use.

What about crisp patent leather shiny white for the walls and a combo of pink/white for her comforter?
Love that rug!

I would stay with mostly white with few pink accents including the rug. Light wood tone furniture would set it off as well.

Let it be.

Nice rug, It is looking very pretty, elegant. If you set the color of the wall or carpet according to the color of the rug then it enhances more the beauty of the room.
