Help with bedroom
I am redecorating my bedroom. I have a color picked out and a new comforter. Going to get curtains and hang them higher. Not sure I can rearrange the furniture. The one big wall I could use would look right down the hall into the living room. Any suggestions?

Are you going to be changing the wall color? What does your new bedding look like? How many pieces of furniture do you have in the room other than your bed?

Do pull a color from your new bedding and be sure it suits the room's lighting and is in contrast but compliments the wood furniture.

As far as the layout, experiment and keep traffic flow and room balance in mind. Is angling the bed not an option? If so, it takes the monotony out of furniture lined up against all walls. Take advantage of vertical space which also draws the eye upward. Increase artificial lighting around the room. Be sure to call attention to the bed with color, pattern and/or textural interest. Including a large mirror into your design plan can double light and room size while assisting you in dressing. Note what image it is reflecting though.

Lastly, but importantly, declutter, organize and contain.
