Wondering what the area around northern Phoenix is like? Are there homes to rent in a good area? If you can help, would enjoy hearing from you.

Go to Realtor.com or Remax.com and ask one of the Realtors in Phoenix is your best bet. They know the current local market. This message has been edited. Last edited by: real estate lady,

rentals.com/arizona/phoenix is one place to start. You can just do a search on house rental phoenix and get a bunch of different ways to get rental information. Not sure exactly what you're looking for - but it does look like there are a whole bunch of options for you........ Good luck!

Nance, I am not sure the websites Realtor.com or Remax.com have rental info- however you can get a Realtor names I believe from those sites. If you PM me I'll try to help guide you further. Deb gave you some good contacts too.
I love Phoenix. I lived out there for a year after my second divorce.. to recoup. My first husband lives there and he has always been a dear friend...even when we were married..which was the problem.(HA!)This message has been edited. Last edited by: real estate lady,

Deb - thanks for the rec. I have been looking on that site. And there are many like you said. The problem is we can't tell what the area is like. They go and check out the house/condo and are disappointed. Trying to do some on line searching for 2 bachelors. (One is my son) They want to move to a "nicer" area. They haven't been out there that long and are trying to look after work and they're running out of time to make a decision. I thought someone who knew the area could help steer them a little. I can trust you guys to lead them in the right direction. This message has been edited. Last edited by: nance425,

If they are looking for the "nicer" area, they are probably looking at a pretty decent rental budget. You are right, you need a Phoenix person (living there now, because I KNOW the traffic is really strange in certain areas due to how the roads were built and the traffic patterns) to let you know the more desireable areas... BUT, whenever you speak with someone there, you need to be able to articulate what "nicer" area is. Is it near restaurants/bars, is it fancier amenities, do schools matter at all.... etc. Also, I would assume (could be wrong) that they will have to commute into a job - so maybe whoever is helping them look for a job can give them some advice. If they are in Phoenix for interviews, they could spend some time in coffee shops near areas of business and just ask people. They might get some good tips! Good luck to them!

Thanks Deb. They know the areas where they don't want to be. It's trying to find the areas that are nice and not across the street from areas that aren't so nice. They both have jobs. They're trying to get closer if they can and in a better neighborhood.
It is a "life experience" for them.
