We're pretty much winding down the peak selling season in my subdivision. Glad to report that the market substantially recovered this summer with many homes selling quickly and within 2-3% of list price. Had a couples sellers who wasted a lot of market time by being unrealistic with their price. Those houses are either still unsold or have been taken off the market.

How did it go in your area?

It's still dead here. The end doesn't seem to be in sight for this area. We still have major unemployment in this area with lots of houses still on the market and in foreclosure. We still have a house sitting that has been on the market since 2008. We've dropped the price to the point we'll have to take money to closing if it finally sells.

It's hotter than a billy goat in a pepper patch.
