Ok, we are going up to NE Pa. in 2 1/2 weeks.
We are looking at homes in the price range of $100,000 to $200,000 and would like at least an acre and a basement.
    Any ideas?

Bamboo, have you been browsing homes on the internet? Are you working with a realtor? Or are you just winging it, LOL?

Call an agent and tell your criteria in a home. The agent can email you listings even though you have been looking on the internet, the local mls system is more accurate. It will be a lot easier for you.

NE Pa. is a pretty BIG territory.
If you narrow that down a bit I would gladly give you some contacts in a PM.

Are you still looking toward Bradford County?
Or would you consider Lehigh,Schuykill or Berks?
In Lehigh you won't get much for that price, but in the others there are still bargains to be found.

We are working with an agent. She is on the prowl for us up there. We are looking in Wayne/Pike/Susquehanna counties and near the Scranton area.

I posted here to see if there is anybody that is trying to sell on their own too.

I must have missed a lot. I thought that you were planning on building a modular home up there, and I was looking forward to hearing how that whole process goes. But I hope you find just what you're looking for!

Just hand over the Blue Bell and no one get's hurt, seeeeee?

You might also want to check FSBO properties. Not all would be listed online, of course. You can check at http://www.fsboadvertisingservice.com/faststatesearch.asp?State=PA

Search for properties on realty websites in your desired area.
