I just finished watching the Sarah's House marathon that I DVR'd. (everyone doesn't have the ability to record shows--I am lucky that I do now!)
She is the very best, love how she and Tommy talk thru every decision and are able to explain why they chose what they did. Very interesting.
Just LOVE what she does. It is a shame HGTV couldn't see their way to provide us with all the shows in this series, tho!
I am wondering about all the furnishings---does she sell everything she put in the house? (even the toothbrushes) Was the price the relaters gave her including the furniture and every little thing? I wouldn't think so, but how does she sell the place?
I would also like to know when she has the time to shop for her darling outfits!!!

Not sure if we have a different access, but it seems to me that EVERYDAY is a marathon! If I am not in the market to buy or sell a home, there is no reason for me to tune in to HGTV during the day. Today's marathon - 4 hours of the Unsellables!!! Really? Whatever happened to the shows that show us how to decorate/design a room? I wish Sarah's house was still on, I'm just sick of the buy/sell shows.....

Just MHO

Tommy' sister is a fashion designer and has been dressing Sarah for yrs.

Sarah Hse 1 was sold intact - the couple buying wanted turnkey.
The furnishing/contents, etc from other Sarah's Hse shows have been sold on Craig's List, consignment shops or even reused by Sarah--a pair of chairs from the backsplit were seen in Sarah's Farmhouse.

Like in any sale,if the buyer wants to buy furniture, etc, the price can be negotiated, so I suspectit would be the same for any of Sarah's homes.

There are only two classes - first class and no class

So, that's the secret to her awesome style.

Talent runs in Sarah's family also. Brother Theo is one-third of the avant garde NYC design firm, Rich, Brilliant, Willing: http://www.richbrilliantwilling.com/

That's the point! Sarah 101 is back but they have decided to run the episodes at 2:30 am on Monday mornings. And this week they ran 5 or 6 episodes back to back. Great for insomniacs. Luckily my VCR picked them all up as new episodes and recorded them. So now I have shows to watch at night instead of House Hunters and I can zap thru all the commercials.
