Seriously? No hot tub in a mountain home? Sign In/Join

Cmon...NO hot tub outside?!
If I won, I'd stay in it for a week or 2 family vacation and sell it...

I concur! Where's the hot tub? It would be perfect out the doors to the courtyard inbetween the wings.

Uh, just take a few grand from the $250,000 cash and buy a tub.

You need that money to pay taxes an such to even dream of owning/living in this "dream home." My dream home, if in a mountain site, would obviously have a hot tub. Major blunder...

Yeah well I was thankful there was NOT a hot tub because it just would increase probablity of sharing it with the locals.... Roll Eyes Big Grin

I've never seen the fascination with hot tubs. I guess if the winner wants one, it's easy to put one in.

They are heaven, 16paws. Had one in our Littleton house in Colorado. Sat many nights looking at the stars and drinking champagne. Smile Nothing better for tired muscles after skiing or shoveling.

Hot tubs are nice, but so is that beautiful soaking tub in the Master.

Poking around the Shaffer's Mill website, I found this interesting map where #6 indicates a "Hot Spring" Maybe we don't need no stinkin' hot tub, we've got a whole spring. Smile

No hot tub?, what about a garage? It get a lot of snow and is very cold in the winter. No place for toys to store .

According to the Shaffer's Mill website, toys (such as bikes) are available for residents/members use at the clubhouse. Leave the storage to them. Wink

Seriously, to me, it is an advantage to have someone else have the headache of maintenance.

Plus, having shared facilities & toys gives you the opportunity to meet, greet and play with neighbors. Good to get out of the house.

Looking for privacy? I suspect you'd find times where there was no-one around, too. No, I *know* you would. My folks lived in a community with common facilities. There were times when everything was quite busy and times when you were the only one around.

It's a lifestyle choice that may not appeal to some. But for me, I've had my fill of lawn mowing, mulch hauling, bush trimming...

Time to outsource some of the chore list.

Yea, just add "hot" water to the soaking "tub" and you got a - "hot tub".
Works for me! ...and less maintenance too!!

I really do like the styling of the tub in the M Bath. And at nearly 6ft long, it would be a heavenly soak.

It's not identified in the featured products. Anyone know who makes it?

After soaking in that neat tub, I am now trying to figure out where I can plant some veggies. Just saw an email for DIY that showed growing up when you have a small area. Sounds like a plan.

I bet they have showers and hot tubs at the country club.

PS, do not put a response to TV/movie guy threads, just open hit the yellow triangle and put off topic and does not add any people joining the thread.. it got rid of the rest of them.

Might be hard to grow anything with all those evergreens... Maybe we could grow some greens on the greens

That will work as well JSB. i did that on the whole line of additions that showed up for two days and they disappeared quickly. This last one got a reprieve for the weekend. I just wish people would not post on them as that encourages more.

That's for sure JSB.

I think the master bath bath tub is full of bubbles. At least that sounds like a good idea.
