The shades are hidden behind the dark brown valances.

I think if you can afford to live in this house, you could afford to have someone clean the windows.

When I bought our current house with a walk out basement and two stories above that the real estate agent said "I believe you're going to clean those gutters with your checkbook".

Same applies here. Though if I win, as much as I'd love to move to Lake Tahoe, the house will be sold.

If in doubt check with your local codes enforcement department for what is required when doing electrical, plumbing or structural work on your house. Not just the windows, but all of the upkeep for this house is probably out of reach of all but the 1%. Best policy is to Dream, but Sell.

Don't fall in love with the house! It's a much more fun presentation of a lotto ticket. Build your own dream home or upgrade your current one. Travel. Put a child through college debt free. A Dream Home weekend with HGTV staff is much more exciting than a picture in the paper with a big lotto check. I LOVE this contest!

Truly a glass house...118 windows. Not sure I like the architecture of the house...windows, mix of wood and steel, but love the location. I would sell this and see what I could do with the money.

ok...I am confused?

Are we worried about bears getting through the windows, or is it being bare with all those windows?

the first scares me, the second scares everyone else!

JSB is going on a bear hunt, that takes care of any potential misguided unconvential bears who don't get the hibernation thing....Smile. Guess Vinnie you can always pull down those nifty hidden shades if the snow spots get too much for you!

LOL I was just thinking how long it would take me to dust all those 3D wooden squares all over the place~!!!!! Eek That alone would encompass an entire day!!!! Eek

JSB maybe if we pry a few squares off carefully it will leave the impression of geometric design without the 3D dust collection capacity! Smile Those bathroom ones would be most difficult to reach....they go first....Razz
