I think they are self cleaning "smart windows." You just hit a couple of buttons on your control panel and they wash and squeegee dry themselves.

Wow Mr. Bill....Hoppy's footprints will be no problem then.... Wink. They are supposed to keep us safe from wayward golf balls at any rate.

Now maybe I will fret on dusting those ceiling industrial beam lip ledges.... Razz Big dust bunnies may fall on us from on high... Eek

Back to topic....thinking that MB tub will be smack dab in front of one of those wonder windows....Smile.

Well at least you won't have to worry about the bears in your garbage cans while you are in the MB tub, they will all be sitting outside your MB window eating popcorn.

You know what they say about bares attracting bears!

That brochure is helpful Alice but what if you don't know they are in your house? What if they are hiding behind the drapes waiting for you to come home? I think that's how they were able to surprise Goldielocks, or was it Little Red Riding Hood? I always get those two woods loving gals confused.

And it's officially official...it's even posted on the dreamhome page for extreme conditions....

And It's Black Bear Country
That’s why project contractor Mike Efstratis had to latch steel lids over the construction dumpsters every night and why he built an extreme garbage shed for the new homeowner. Built of stone, with steel doors and a bear-proof latch, this shed is the surest way to discourage bears, who would otherwise nose around at night and forage through the family’s waste barrels in search of snacks. “I see bears all the time,” says architect David Bourke. “They’re not interested in people, but they’re very interested in people’s trash

Ok that's it...I won't be venturing outside and am NOT taking out the garbage...will be an indoor dreamer....'cept if a forest fire rages or an earthquake.....LOL....Eek Plus I could get snowed in anyways....better stock the pantry...wait is there one?!!? Razz Smile

And Mr. Bourke claims they are not interested in people, just their trash....what about the people taking OUT the trash!?!?!?! Big Grin

You can observe your teddy bears and the Northern California rattlesnakes from the glassed-in Dream Home. !!!!
Truckee is one place where both men and women wear long underwear and where a shot of brandy is a substitute for the otherwise mandatory Friday night cold shower. Yeehaw. !!
Fun, you never had such!! :>)

Oh and now it's rattlesnakes.... Eek Thanks Tango....must be alot of bears too because the contractor said he sees them ALL THE TIME.... Roll Eyes Guess GreenAlice will need to get major therapy to overcome bear phobia once I win...hope Truckee has some decent help. Wink Surely they would be easy to spot at a distance during snow season....and otherwise besides delegating garbage takeout to others, I surely would not venture outside at night.....

Best carry some of this at all times when I do go out...stocking up....

Too funny Mr. Bill....I am wary of googling though to investigate...it only leads to more trouble with critters in my experience....think it best that we look to uncover the mandatory panic room built into secret space in Dreamhome 2014....Wink. Good place for an antfarm, just sayin'....Cool

Dreamers examine those floor plans.....leave no space unaccounted for....assume it's windowless too. Maybe access under a....er....bearskin rug?!?! Eek Razz

GreenAlice and JSB I did indeed have the privilege to tour the Sonoma home, so much fun. We hope to tour this one as well. Calif is about 1000 miles long and we were actually almost 500 miles from Sonoma. I have not calculated the distance to trucker yet but is on my to do list. It would be so much fun to tour with some of you.

Okay I will address one of my phobias. I am deathly afraid of being trapped in an elevator with a nearsighted walrus. I know, I know, there isn't an elevator at the 2014 DH, but do we know for sure? Oh gosh I'm gonna have bad dreams again tonight. I probably should not have brought it up. There are probably many here on the DH message board that suffer from the same walrus phobia as me. I apologize.
