Just can't believe the team of people that you have put together for this wonderful home. I mean, to think of all the hard work that went into it, you know, the people driving the nails and painting and the designers, wow. So awesome. I just want to tell you that you are doing such a wonderful thing for someone. I have entered everyday, sometimes twice a day. I am one of those people who at bingo watch the same woman win three times in one night...how is that possible. I don't have any luck....but, ya know, I feel good about this. I have learned everything through hard work and dedication. However, I live in Cleveland, Georgia and I moved up here to be with my husband, I had to sacrifice my job as a court reporter in Jacksonville, Florida....but he's the only person who has ever loved me, and that was worth it. I am kind of stuck here in Cleveland...small town. The same sign has been up for two years at the town clothing store, "popcorn tops and Lee Jeans" so you can imagine what the job market is like. My husband is a professional fly fishing guide, and he's awesome, and I have helped guide him to his full potention, to which I'm proud. However, I feel my heart is empty because I need to be near the city, Atlanta. Too hard to get there from here. If there were one accident, I would be fired the first week. This is just one of the reasons I would love to win this Green Home near Atlanta. I want my dream too. Once again, thank you for making this even possible in my mind, and I totally, if by any chance I could be "that girl at bingo" just once, I would appreciate it from the depths of my heart. THIS IS MY MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE. I HOPE YOU FIND IT. Dana Rice, Thank you for listening. This message has been edited. Last edited by: DRice,

DRice, Nice to hear you're so enthusiastic about the home, and good luck with your entries like the rest of us (hey, you never know), but if I may point out two things: 1) You may wish to edit the last part of your post. It's NEVER a good idea to post your address in any online forum, or your personal email. 2) Serenbe isn't much closer to Atlanta than Cleveland is, actually. I would say with normal Atlanta traffic, you're talking about 50 minutes or more to get downtown from the heart of Serenbe - Cleveland isn't that much further out from the City, to be honest. The climate is very different, though. Cleveland is more country-rural... Serenbe would be more like the Virginia Highland neighborhood in Atlanta, only stuck a ways outside the city.

I did take that out. Sorry, I'm a trustworthy person and don't realize those things. However, thanks for the luck!!! And of all of those things, 50 minutes is absolutely doable. I sometimes wonder why people try to discourage the happy. Not saying that was your intention, but it kind of seemed discouraging. There's nothing discouraging about it. Whatever the distance, whatever the obstacles, I'm fine with it. I have been able to overcome a lot in my life, and I am still hopeful. It's such a beautiful place, and I would jump through hurdles to be the lucky one.... I will remain positive!! Smile on my face, always. Thanks, DRice

I would love to walk in and just take a big sniff.....I know that sounds funny, but since I've never had new car, ect, it would be awesome to smell a brand new, home, where all of the workers put their heart and soul into it. It's my understanding we only have a few days left, but I'm available. It's a once in a lifetime sneek peek at bliss! Dana Rice ....tell me how to take a tour...so excited.
