so, I am curious if anyone has heard anything, or seen anything. This message board doesn't seem to have much activity right now.

I'm a new member to this page but nothing yet from Maryland. I keep hoping and looking out my window.

I noticed that the Rules state that they will surprise the winner around June 25 - 27. Have you all heard differently?

"Main Sponsor anticipates that the potential Grand Prize Winner will be contacted either by phone, e-mail, in writing, or in person via an "ambush style" visit by Main Sponsor representatives at the Grand Prize Winner's home or other location on or about June 25 - 27, 2012 (subject to change). The potential Grand Prize Winner may be filmed or otherwise recorded during such visit by Main Sponsor. Grand Prize Winner may also be required to travel to the HGTV Green Home on "Winner Weekend" (currently scheduled for July 26 - 28, 2012, or other such dates to be determined by Main Sponsor in its sole discretion) at Main Sponsor's expense."

I have been entering HGTV's dream home and Green home contests for many years now. The one thing that I have learned is the dates they post may not be exactly right. So I do alot of looking out my windows. Looking to see if anyone is walking up to my door. Hopefully this will be my year.

On the blog on the 22nd, Monica was preparig for the trip and it stated she was told to pack sundresses for the trip, so somewhere warm.

Hope we hear something soon! While I'd love to be the winner, I'll be happy for anyone who wins. It's the waiting that's difficult! I wonder if by "hot" it could be a place like "Hot Springs"? Just a thought.... I'm in NC myself, where it stays hot all summer! Good luck, everyone!!

I'm thinking somewhere in the west where Turquoise is found,i.e. NM/AZ/NV since in the HGTV Blog picture both of the pieces of luggage are turquoise color...

There are 2 nice black SUV's down the street from me. Of course, I started peeking out there, thinking it was Monica and her gang! Probably some workmen! Fun to dream, though!

It is still hot here in California. That would be so sweet to see those balloons and Monica at my door.Still waiting!
