I love, love, love this room but I have a huge concern about the safety issue of that "hanging" rope from the loft bed. Call me crazy but accidents happen and some can be prevented and this grandma is always on the lookout.

I think I woul put a small gate on the openning so it would open swinging in because that is just where a child would sit to play the video games and then there would be something to sit against and prevent falling. Dependent on the age would determine the rope issue.
