How would you go about planning a wedding on a limited income?

I have a wedding dress. The biggest part of the wedding is the dining. I do not know where to begin. I would like it inside so that my dress does not get grass stains on it. A small banquet hall would be nice... maybe at a golf course. But I am unsure. I have lived most of my life near or around Rose City, Michigan. However, to compromise the dinner should be in Standish, Michigan. Does anyone have any suggestions. on where to have it, to keep it simple, and yet to keep it elegant. That does sound like a lot to ask for. Thank you for any suggestions.

The color we are going with is yellow.... it is a sign of friendship.

The theme we are going with is something that I picked out....

....Your hug lasts a week
Your kiss lasts a year
Your promise lasts a lifetime
Your love lasts eternal....

He really does give me the biggest hugs and the most romantic kisses. His promise means more than I can say. And his love is like the Alpha and Omega to me.

The date set is July 7, 2014. Easy to remember.

As of now, we have decided to have the wedding consist of four people. Ourselves and two people to stand up for each of us. Then, the two of us will leave to go on a short trip. This is doable. Thank you for those of you who have been interested in my wedding prep.

Start by calling around to hotels, conference Centers even restaurants if you have a smaller guest list. Find out if your date is available, and then start asking money! Is there a minimum? Is there a room charge? Once you get your location the coordinator will take charge so to speak, and guide you through the process!
