Candice appeared only occasionally on DS last season so I wasn't surprised she didn't decide to return this year. Plus, they shot DS in LA - it'd be a little tougher to travel from Toronto for her. Not sure if DS was helping her image, anyway -
My understanding (I may be incorrect) is that CTA's on hiatus and she stays extremely busy with her Toronto design business plus other business interests. Incidentally, her dh builds upscale, custom homes so she apparently also works with him.
I know what you mean. I have been checking back for several weeks for CTA. Candice had a blue-gray/brown 2-tone sectional in Episode 307 "Flexible Living" that I absolutely have to have but no information on the Resource Guide has been posted and it's been several months now.
Does anyone know her email address? I am desperate.
Where is Candace???? I love her show and really miss it. It would be nice to see her in the evenings maybe the 9pm slot. I get tired of seeing the exact same line up every night. The evenings are the only time I get to watch my shows. Candace come back we miss you!!!!
There's going to be a marathon of Candace Tells All Saturday afternoon,Sept. 15th. I don't know why HGTV is dumping them all in the afternoon when all they have are repeats in the prime Saturday night spot.
Am currently watching the marathon of CTA. Watched the marathon of Sarah last week. What gives? On prime time is a marathon of Buy and Sell. Before that it was FOREVER Holmes. Why doesn't HGTV spread these out? Now I have to say something for which I'll probably get a lot of flack. I love Candace. I love her designs and I USUALLY love what she wears. On the opening of her programs, the hair style she has is probably the best I've ever seen on her (in my opinion). But in the marathon programs, her hair looks limp, too long, and sad. Also, in two of the programs she's worn a silver - looks like - a Liberace coat. Ugh! to both. Sorry, Candance but you need to do something with your hair and lose the coat.

I had to giggle when I saw your post Bitsy because I thought the exact same thing about the Liberace coat. Didn't like it at all. It was swallowing her up but I do love Candice!! Everything she does is perfection and stunningly beautiful. I DVR'd the marathon too and complained about this in another post about how for the past several weeks HGTV has been running marathons of the new seasons of our favorite shows and then we're stuck with House Hunters and Love It or List It and all the other crappy real estate shows every night. I just don't understand the HORRIBLE PROGRAMMING. Why do they give us an entire season in one or two days? I'd much rather have good design shows like Candice and Sarah etc... throughout the week then all on one day.

I've come to a "concussion" on the matter of Sarah and Candice--Sarah was always the "furriner" so it's no surprise that her new show was shown as a one-time marathon. Candice, however, had a presence on HGTV in this country, so I figure in the current p*litical season, her work permit expired and she's been self-deported--therefore she received the same shabby treatment as Sarah. ):
I wonder if the rift is about sponsor conflict. HGTV just came out with their Sherwin Williams collection that they have had David promoting. Candice clearly has a contract with Benjamin Moore and is promoting her line with them as well. Say what you will, I am enjoying her designs. She really knows how to read the clients' tastes, solve problems, and create visually stunning rooms with her signature sparkle and strange sense of humor.

I agree 100% about the horrible programming choices!!
