My private 3acre island is on the intracoastal waterway north of Ponce Inlet's Atlantic Ocean access. There's 1.8 surveyed buildable uplands to build on. I'm in need of help. I Don't know where to start. Any designer ideas?
Lots of spam on these sites, and the fact that this is your first post and the listing picture and name says "island for sale" places a suspicion on your post.
In other words, you hope to sell it rather than build?
My first thought was power and you will need a source of it like wind or solar to even start building .I watched building Alaska with Bob Mays and what he had to go through just to get supplies and workers there to just get it done .I wonder how much something you want to do would cost .I saw he he got such horrible wood delivered to his sight and just getting it there and the cost .There was one show years ago that had a smaller island than yours and they shipped a modular home there on barges .It seemed like it was really the cheapest option for them .They just drove it to where they wanted it and I remembered there hassle of just getting cement in bags took 4 months .It looks really nice and green and lush .Guessing you would want your home closest to the water and views .I think maybe water could be your biggest thing .Building Alaska show he had a stream near by .Good luck and happy islanding .
