Need some ideas for a 2 story great room, every thing looks small in this room including the fire place. What can I do?

There is also a wonderful site posted at WashingtonPost.com Home and Garden/House Calls....you send in some pictures and they find a designer who looks at your pictures and then does a rendering and makes suggestions for paint and furniture...it is a wonderful sight and they have like 100 past posts to look at! It is a fantastic site and I love it....it starts with paint colors and goes all the way to soup and nuts and a beautiful rendering to boot....
