Totally agree Tom, but I'm thinking this is a network directive. Most of HGTV's design shows include bogus conflict and "human interest" personality driven incidentals. I blame it all on the Kardashians and the prevelence of reality T.V. It's a shame that a network which had integrity felt the need to sink to the lowest common denominator, instead of raising the bar.

I have 2 questions for the folks at HGTV; What happened to Candice Olson and Sanda (Riamato? sp) Two of the best people on your network and they are not there any more. Why? What happened? Also, enough all ready with "House Hunting and Selling London, etc" shows. Why show me things I can't afford or want? I don't care how the "other half" lives, not in this economy. I hardly watch HGTV in the evenings any more and I miss it! Shape up guys or change management not good shows.
