I don't need to watch Type A people over act/impose out their neurosis to the point where they go beyond being annoying. Tiring to watch - it would be better to have the warehouse people show what they can provide, in a more informative way - vs the over drama, which gets old, fast.
After 5 minutes, I realized, that as much as I enjoy different types of people socially, 5 minutes of this type of one sided frantic conversation would find even the most patient, or even close to comatose, person, scrambling for any reason, polite or not, to get away.

Totally agree, Miadora. By about the first commercial, I had the volume muted and went to get my computer. For the eager anticipation, I was way disappointed. Waste of time. Not to mention that I could not relate to a 5M, 8000 SF house. Gee. Must be nice.

Thought it was a show about personalities rather than decorating. But then I didn't watch the whole thing. Doing the dishes seemed more entertaining.

They kept mentioning the "wow piece" for each room. Is this a known decorating principal I have been missing all these years?

I have heard of "wow FACTOR", of course, don't think I've ever heard of "wow piece."

In my mind, a room's focal point would serve as its wow "factor" or "piece."

Well, no secret that my opinion is very negative regarding this show, AND its personalities (if you can call them that.)

The product sure didn't live up to the hype.

And they need to ixnay that Matthew character asap, along with his actress assistant!
