Yes, Arizona is doing well. Our pricing is also very reasonable, especially in comparison other major cities.

The Valley on the Sun attracts many snowbirds and retirees due to some age restricted communities. We also have many great young professional and artist communities throughout Central Phoenix, Historical Districts in North Phoenix, Tech booms in Eastern Phoenix, but also many family oriented, well established neighborhoods.

It's worth a look.

Our area of Central Texas, just north of Austin, is experiencing record sales and low inventory.

We are down to 2.7 months inventory! (Texas overall is 4 months inventory.) Average days on the market is 45 in our area.

It's astounding.

It really depends on the home prices. If you are a retiree, I wouldn't choose San Diego unless you are quite wealthy. or any place in Ca unless you have money.
Miami? not so much, Tampa, yes, and many other places in Florida.
Texas? Phoenix, I cannot imagine living in an area that it is so hot that to me is unbearable.
Detroit, Minn. are you kidding? what about the winters?
