Need desperately to sell home before school starts in Hope Mills,NC Mls# 313432 Need honest opinions as to what may be hurting us in not getting any offers. Have been on the market for over 6 mths now, on our 2nd Realtor, have lowered price and willing to lower more if needed.
Any input from anyone of our pictures. We know the price range is just taking longer in this area, however our patience is becoming limited with two school age children.
Just trying any message boards to get our home out there in search of a buyer. Thanks for any one who replies with info.

On www.realtor.com, I'm only able to see a photo of the front of the house. Can you post a link to the site that contains multiple photos of your listing?

I found your listing and did a search under the same parameters as your home - 3 bedroom 2 bath. 29 homes came up and yours was the most expensive by nearly $20,000. Most of the homes were half the price of yours! I know you have the acreage, but this if you really want to sell I think you should drop the price to $299,000 if you can.

Your home is lovely. I'd love to live there if I were in the area. It is staged nicely, but does lack color. Can you repaint the living room to a warmer tan color? The white walls, blue furniture are a bit cold.

Gooc luck!

Hey Cauman, I feel your pain as I have just recently putmy house on the market as well. I wanted to give you a little feedback. I pulled up your house on realtor.com and was a little surprised that there are no room dimensions listed. I know that this would be a big turnoff for me initially. I also went to the realtor's website and did not find them there either. It looks like you have some pretty nice sized rooms so I would show that off. Talk to your realtor about adding that information to the websites.
Also, I strongly agree with the previous comment that you could use deeper paint colors. This doesn't mean painting the living room red or anything like that. Just pick a nice neutral taupe several shades darker than what you currently have. This will make the rooms feel much warmer. You wouldn't necessarily have to paint every room either. Pick the rooms where you will get the most bang for your buck...living room and kitchen and master bedroom for sure. You definitely want the master bedroom to be warm and inviting.
I hope this was a little helpful, and I think you have a really beautiful house.

Thanks,
Jessica
