Hey y'all, the new staging show premieres tomorrow night, right after DS3. (Hat tip to Idaho for the reminder!)

Let's all meet here on the forum & get on a thread and "watch" it together...wouldn't that be fun?

OK, who's coming and who's bringing what??

Sounds like fun! Count me in... Remember the Billy Joel song with the words "bottle of red, bottle of white"? Well, I'll bring one of each. But somebody better bring some food so we make it to the end of the show! Cool

Great idea, Peri!

Good deal, Idaho! I'll bring some food, I just have to decide what would be good.

(Speaking of that, I might have the rest of my fajitas now!)

I'll show up if I can but it won't be until later as I'm on the west coast.

In any event, I cannot bring chocolate because I've pretty much eaten the two bags I purchased for any showings (none) and next week's open house.

Hot wings for anyone?

Looks like a party to me BUT, Peri, we need you to post Question Seven on the other thread ASAP so we can get through the quiz before party time! Wink

"Charcoalsmom," Hey you have a point! I might be a little late myself as I'm on Mountain time, you are on Pacific time and I know a lot of the others coming are on Eastern time. Do we have anyone on Central time?

I just checked my TV Guide (Dish network) and it says it will air here at 8 PM. It would still work if it airs at 10 PM Eastern, 9 PM Central, 8 PM Mountain and 7 PM Pacific. Can anyone else check to see when it airs in their time zone?

DS3 comes on at 9 PM Pacific time and I think the new show comes on after that, right? If so, I won't be able to join the party until very late when most of you easterners and midwesterners will be in bed asleep.

I absolutely cannot come on the computer beginning from around 7 PM PT because I don't want to know anything about DS3 until it airs here.

So, I will attend the party, for sure, but I'll be late. :-)

"Charcoalsmom," Bummer! Frown If DS3 doesn't come on until 9 PM, then The Stagers will most likely air at 10 PM your time so it won't work.

Understand exactly why you don't want to be on the computer earlier as I have the same problem. DH won't watch HGTV with me so I have to watch DS3 later after it airs and have to avoid learning the outcome before I have a chance to see it myself.

"jsdillon," If The Stagers air at 9 PM your time, that would be simultaneous with our time of 8 PM so we just need someone on Eastern time to post what time it airs there.

Hopefully, we can still have the party AND, Charcoalsmom, we'll save some of the goodies for you....

Anyone on Eastern time, post when it airs!

It's on at 10 eastern time, isn't it? I think all the HGTV listings are ET.

Becca aren't you in that time zone?

ETA: It also repeats at 1 a.m. our (central) time.

Okay, it appears that The Stagers will be broadcast simulataneously at 10 PM Eastern, 9 PM Central and 8 PM Mountain so PARTY ON!

We will simply have to promise to restrain ourselves and leave some of the goodies for all of our Pacific time friends. I'm excited - my first virtual party!

When I told DH I was going to a party tomarrow night he looked at me like I had lost my mind. When I explained that I had offered to bring both red and white wine, he said why not make that crab quiche you have been talking about? (a little, no make that a lot of sarcasm)

(I saw a recipe on the Food board here a week or two ago but waiting a bit to try it as the ingredients are expensive - might want to check it out, everyone). Anyway, told DH that was a great idea so I'll be bringing a crab quiche as well. (More Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes from DH). I might just mix in some lobster as well!

Nothing too good for the folks on this board. Besides we have a lot to celebrate after this week! Smile

ITA, it is incredible and special what has happened here...and I'm sure anyone who doesn't have an offer yet or interest is right behind those who have...FLBoy should be back soon so that should rev things back up!

I used to think virtual parties were silly, till I "went" to one...this was on a board I belonged to a while back...we could post pics directly on the threads the way you can in the decorating forum & these parties would have EVERY little detail posted, it was fun & really interesting to look at...

Someone would even pick "location" for the party & post that picture...china, glasses, tableware, etc., accessories, and of COURSE the food/drinks, etc.

Another virtual party I "saw" but didn't "attend" was a Kentucky Derby Thread where they bet on the horses & picked out hats to wear & posted what they were bringing for their box lunches etc.

Arrrgh, wish we could post pics directly on these threads...maybe we could put in a request to the "powers that be"? That would really help with helping one another with staging, to be able to look at the pics all at the same time & go over things w/o having to click on links.

You guys are making me LOL. Lots of booze and no driving. I'm so proud. Anyone in for some good Oregon Pinot Gris. I'm a cheap date and it only takes about one glass to get me silly. Did I mention it's not a 5 oz..........

Neesha, You are on with the white Oregonian Pinot! You, Charcoalsmom and I might the only ones left at the party after all those Central-Eastern time zone people party out. So I think I'll hold back the lobster-crab quiche for later and we can share it with any of them who stay up with us!

Peri, I was actually laughing at the idea of a virtual party (actually thought I had made up the term myself) and then saw your post. What can I say? I live out in the country -way out- and not up on the latest social scene!

Myself, I don't want the pressure of pictures, ect., as this will be the first party ever that I can come in my ***** and NOT have to stress over cleaning the house, being an attentive host or worrying if everyone is having a good time.

I can also spend as much as I want - just decided to make that quiche a half 'n half with crab and lobster. Wow, I could get used to entertaining this way.... Cool

"Charcoalsmom," Totally agree that it isn't fair for some to get to see it before others!

Well, since I'm bringing red and white wine (you do want me to take your hot wings, right, hopefully they will leave us a few) and I'm holding back the lobster/crab quiche for us on the western side of the country; I decided to make some chocolate for you. Chocolate Mousse to be precise, ok? Only for the "after hours" party group.... all are welcome! Cool
