Can the community tell me if it's steel cable or steel rod that is used in the staircase in the 2011 Green Home here:


Also - anyway to contact the designer of this house?

Without knowing the answer, one could assume that steel rods would be subject to bending permanently, whereas stainless cable can be given enough tension to be and remain resilient but stay attractive without kinks.
