The more I keep looking at colours, the more I can't decide!
I've originally liked smokey taupe for the foyer and hallways and cabot trail for the kitchen (goes with my bleached looking cabinets ..looks pinky) except didn't know what to do in the living/dining room
They are so similar!!!! - on the same page on the fandeck! Slight difference in undertone I guess
Which combo do you think I should pick??
I'm leaning toward the first at the moment but maybe the second will be better??? argh!! I'd like your opinions please - my husband is colour blind so I have no help! lol
Took me a while to find them...BenM Canadian? Anyway, they ARE similar. They're so similar and I have no experience with them. I honestly don't think it makes a big difference. I would get the big chips, except I'm not sure about the Canadian BenM having big chips.
Sometimes you just have to make the decision and don't look back. You can't second-guess yourself. They're all lovely taupes. I'd flip a coin.
I guess it's the canadian version of Designer Classics? Didn't know they did different colours for Canada and US.
I read in some posts you said that you can register as a professional and get the big chips for free? This would help me out a lot because I bought a couple of the big chips and they're 5 dollars a piece...ouch!
How do you register as a professional - don't they ask what organization?
Thanks again Casey - guess you're the resident guru here ...good work!
I know the American website has a "For Designers and Architects" tab when you first enter the website. Let's see if the Canadian one does too. umm, yes, if you "Select your Language" to Canada - English and "Make your selection" to "For Architects&Deisgners". Yes, we're in Canada because "color" is now spelt "colour"...click "Order Colour Tools". Then click "Order" Big Chips. Click Designer-Big Chips. Eventually, you'll get to the Designer Big Chips (just keep clicking on those English buttons) and you can now "Sign up". Okay, there is no place on the Account Information that says "Designer" or "Company". So just sign up and then go back and start ordering away. They mail them to you for free. You just need to know what Collection those colors are in (The Designer Collection) and the color's name. Be sure to spell it right. They're picky about spelling. And the difference is the Canadian colors are not as extensive as the American, though the Historical Collection seems to be the same.
hmm....I did as you said and when I pick the colours it goes to my shopping cart and comes up so I can pay?
There was no where to put business except in address type and I did and I still have to put in my VISA info. Maybe on the canadian site you can't get free stuff - figures.
The only hint of payment for us is if we want something expedited or want fandecks too. What happens when you put that stuff in? It would still be worth it because sample pots are $5/piece and this still has to be cheaper.
I've even ordered 80 or so chips at one time and it was free.
