We just moved, and our new master bedroom has dark green marble floors with varying shades of green/creme. There is also a fireplace with the same marble surrounding it.
I like the boutique/spa hotel look for a master bedroom. We have dark espresso colored furnture. |

A soft warm zen-like neutral would help with all the green. And then crisp white bedding/duvets.

Yes, the previous owner had very unusual taste (the walls in the room are purple witha lilac wallpaper border)

SW's Netsuke (see the Japanese word? zen.
 ) SW6134 is my idea of zen-like (zen really just means a color that is calm and found in nature). The last upscale hotel I stayed in was painted a similar color with big poufy white duvets and pillows. A soft cream area rug will soften all that marble. I'd keep it simple since the marble tends to be busy. |
