I would like to paint the built-in hutch in my dining room. I't not real wood and this is an old mobile home. It's like dark and I would like to paint it white. Don't know what kind of paint I should get. Attached is a picture - hopefully. Haven't done this in a long time so don't know if the picture will show. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You mentioned the hutch isn't wood - can't tell what it is in the photo.

I would suggest removing one of the drawer fronts (or another small part) and asking a paint store specialist to recommend the appropriate primer and paint. BTW, I don't trust the paint/primer combo they're pushing now.

JMHO

Good Luck!
