Viridian is such a true but sheer green -- hmmm...don't have my fandecks with me. But I'll poke around a bit at lunch.
colorcharts has no color names close to it. However, you can always try to match to the watercolor colors. It is the color made from Chlorinated Copper Phthalocyanine.
A lovely green in watercolors.
However, I can tell you that Pthalo green is BM's Absolute Green. A very beautiful dark green that a friend had to put five coats up to get right -- and she DID use the dark primer.

Okie dokie, ICI has a Veridian Green 3726 which might be close to real Viridian. And it can be argued that Verdigris is similar to Viridian, and BM has a beautiful Verdigris CC-685. Which, I think, is more of what I'm thinking of as Viridian.
It was how she was cutting in...you often get a thinner coat of paint with a brush. Anyway, she painted one big wall with the green (several coats) and liked it so much, she decided to do a second wall. Only there was a noticeable difference between the two walls -- one was streaky. So then she kept going, coat after coat. It wasn't till the last coat when she found a tiny roller that would cut in real close to the ceiling that she was satisfied. It IS an absolutely dark green wall. Really beautiful.
