I would like to paint a bedroom with wood floors, white trim and black and wood furniture in a traditional robin's egg. Does anyone know any good colors from a swatch as a starting point.

You might want to start with BM Blue Allure. Also look at Blue Flower and Skylark Song for a bit more bold.

Browse fabrics or even papers in this family of blue to find the one that speaks to you and works with your room's furnishings and lighting. Match a chip to it or take it to a name brand paint store to color match. Optionally, shop for a comforter that works for your space and evokes the feel and scheme you desire. Pull the blue for your walls from it.

If you've already selected the color/shade of blue you prefer, then visit any reputable paint store (your choice) and review their paint palette. You'll want to obtain samples of at least 2-3 light blues and try them on the wall(s) in various lights, at different times during the day.

BTW, it's always tempting to start by painting but I don't recommend it (JMHO). Good Luck!
