Touch up wall
Hello I have a question i two months ago painted my bedroom Hc-144 Palliadiam Blue by BM . I recently notice a couple of spots need touch up but the paint i have is so thick i can not use i cant even stir it at all.

So my plan is to just purchase a quart of paint or will i need to paint the entire wall so the paint will blend in better?

Or do i need to purchase an gallon just in case ?

Do not buy a quart if you previously used a gallon. The formula for mixing the two quantities are very slightly (very, very slightly) different and you will notice a difference. Buy another gallon. I know it seems like a waste but it is the only way to get it to match.

I cannot imagine a paint so thick you cannot stir it... the lid must not have been closed tightly. Next time pour your left over paint into a smaller container that can be sealed and marked so you know what it is and where to use it.

You should be able to just touch up the wall but if it does not work than you can repaint the whole wall.

I agree re. the purchase of a gallon and repainting the entire wall. It sounds like you only applied one coat and if the previous wall color was light or bright, it's advised to apply two top coats of most paints anyway. You will surely notice a more even application of color after the second coat.
