I have a small house 1000sqft I want to redecorate the whole place. My idea is black and white with color thrown in.. I would like to paint the walls a pearl white and have black furniture with color thrown in with glass, pillows and such.. I like flea market finds with modern thrown in more on the eclectic side. My fave furniture is waterfall. The floors are light hardwood... 48 young single male I welcome any and all comments..

Welcome. With a black and white public space scheme going, the sky's the limit w/ accents. Just resist going overboard w/ pops of color or you risk a busy look that's more crayon box then classy. Punctuate with color around the spaces via pillows, art, accessories, a chair perhaps, a rug, etc.

Have fun w/ scales of black and white prints and textures in black and white that will be pleasing to the eye. Some masculine prints are those that are nature inspired (trees, leaves, shells, equestrian, fish, etc.), paisley, harlequin/diamond, plaids, stripes (bolds to pinstripes), herringbone checks, chevrons, abstracts, colorblocks, to name a few.

BTW, your monochromatic scheme will visually enlarge your small abode. Great choice!
