Light or dark paint on top with tall ceilings? Sign In/Join
Hi! I'm painting a kids room with an ocean/beach mural theme on all 4 walls. I have two inspiration photos: and

My problem is that the room is small with tall ceilings - it's 12'x10' with 10' ceilings. I like the second picture more, but I'm worried that if the ocean is dark blue and the sky above is light blue, the room will start to feel top heavy. I might have it totally backwards though. What do you think? Thanks!
