I feel like I have a split personality! On one day, I will like this color, only to change my mind in a short period of time. No matter how much time I put into deciding, it's never easy. Not because there isn't things I like. It's because of so many things I love!
Well, I believe I have finally narrowed the paint color down to the following two:
Lowe's Valspar - Oatlands Yellow or SW Humble Gold
To help decide between these two, here are some questions:
Should the very small size (3' X 6' ) half bath and the 6' X 9' laundry be a factor between these two colors? One window in half bath, none in laundry room. 1/2 bath faces east.
Should I use eggshell or satin?
What color cabinets would look best over the laundry appliances? Will white be too stark against the HG color? Not crazy about wood tone cabinets over the W/Dryer, but what do I know! This is why I'm asking.
You know, after awhile, this seems like work instead of fun! How does one get cured from being so indecisive? Thanks!
Ah, I don't know how you get cured. Tell yourself, it's only paint.
Personally, I get fixated on a color and the next thing I know I'm painting it someplace. I DO make mistakes too. My entry hall has been through three color changes and is now approaching another one.
What I usually do is paint a really big swatch (actually severa) and then take everything that's going into that room and pile eit against the colors and try to block everything else out.
I don't have the Valspar chips for Oatlands Yellow but I think the Humble Gold is a tad more neutral than your Delightful Moon. I looked at it against my white cabs and think it looks great. White works with anything, but it looks sharp with the Gold. I would definitely go with white for the cabs.
It'll be a cheerful laundry and bath. Go ahead and follow your gut. It's how you learn what you really like.
I like eggshell better -- but there's not a huge difference between eggshell and satin.

Course, I have a long, hairy, boring answer. I'll try to make it short. I think indecisiveness when it comes to color is a result of not doing the work on the front end to decide what it is you want to achieve design-wise and what you want and need a wall color to do for the humans and the volume of space itself.
Not doing the work isn't about people choosing not to do it, or being too lazy to do it. Not at all. The preliminary color work doesn't get done because few know how to do it.
....And, it's not like there's some set rules about the work that you have to do in order to choose a paint color. I'm simply suggesting that a alternative color methods and perspectives exist.
....And, there's always the option of just picking a color, stopping the madness, get the painting done, swear off regret and don't look back.
