We live in a 1920 tudor style home that has some trim painted swiss coffee by behr, some trim painted bleached almond by behr and some refinished with stain and varnish to match the inside windows. I would like to have one trim color throughout the house so that it simplifies touch ups and reduces can storage space. What are your thoughts HGTV gurus?

I feel as you do...a consistant "white" throughout except those rooms that feature stained trim and doors (builder's choice). In your case however, as per the era and style of architecture of your home, I'd personally be reluctant to paint any trim as it's quality wood and stained interior trim fits that period and style. Since some have already been painted, you might opt to use the same paint color in all rooms featuring painted trim. It does save money over time.

BTW, my trim and doors are painted Ben Moore's China White in those rooms featuring painted trim and doors.

Thanks for input! All trim is painted except one window in hall with attatched ledge and front door. I have friends that strip woodwork and refinish their trim because of personal preference, but what a job!
