Since I can't choose a color for the GR we have moved on to my DD bedroom. She has no color problems and has picked SW Refresh. Trim will stay SW Extra White. My issue now is the attached J&J bath and the other bedroom. The other BR is a guest room so I am free to choose any color I want. The J&J bath has natural maple cabinets and chrome fixtures. The tile floor is dark blue and the counter top is a sort of swirly lighter blue with some tan and soft lavender streaks. What color in the Bath and 2nd BR will work with Refresh and make the 3 spaces flow? Oh, I need a ceiling color for all three rooms and it doesn't have to be the same but it would be easier.

grumble...answered this once and my work computer freaked out and shut it down...

SW shows Notable Hue SW6521 with Refresh and I like the way they look against each other too. A midtone blue, very nice and serene. This would be great for the second bedroom. Interestingly, they also show Restrained Gold SW6129 with Notable Hue and it is a neutralized gold (that we all know and, ahem, love so much)...and that might be one option for the bath where it would, hopefully, pick up the tan in the counters. Though I would probably go with Ivoire because, well, because it looks really pretty against Refresh. And Notable Hue. And it's lighter and shows great against the natural maple.

And then I would go with Navajo White SW6126 for the ceiling in all the rooms because it's warm and creamy and looks really good against all the colors. Big Grin

    My 2 cents.

Casey, Your 2 cents is worth at least a dollar in my book. Seriously, thanks for the recommendations. I was thinking about Notable hue for the bathroom but then I couldn't come up with a color for the other bedroom. I like your suggestion because I can connect the two rooms with the Ivoire.

I can't believe that I am actually considering this but my dd has come up with a suggestion to paint the 2nd BR Wheat Grass. Will the Navajo White and Ivoire for the bath still work?

Well, the Navajo White still works -- but the Wheat Grass is just a bit greener and I think it's a bold choice for a visual sightline. Not saying it won't work -- it's kind of like when you see brass and green copper against each other. It's acidic but not displeasing. However, I'm not sure there's a huge tonal difference between Ivoire and Wheat Grass. There's only a tone difference and the golds may fight against each other a bit. They're too similar.

Casey, Thanks and I understand the point that you are making about the WG. I will stick with the blue for bedroom 2.
