I have a 3 level split that I have been renting now the whole interior needs painting so I can put on the market to sell. I would like to paint the interior pretty much the same color throughout. There are light hardwoods on main floor which has LR, DR, Kitchen open concept, cathedral ceiling, upstairs has 3 bedrooms, all hardwoods, bath, hallway. Lower level is FR, Bath, Bedroom with tan carpet. What color or colors would be good for me to paint? I know it sounds boring to paint everything the same but I have sold many houses that I have taken a lot of time to paint and then the new owner paints right over everything so I just want a neutral color throughout to make the house look fresh and clean. Thank you for any suggestions.

There are two really stunning colors I have been seeing the designers around my area use for my friends:
Sherwin Williams Anew Gray 7030 http://www.sherwin-williams.co...ly/SW7030-anew-gray/
and Sherwin Williams Pussywillow 7643

There are so many wonderful colors to chose from at Sherwin Williams, I have no doubt you'll find something that will work for you. Just a tip: limit your color choices to three and test them. Any more colors than that will have you pulling out your hair and wasting time.

Here's an article with chip suggestions to consider when staging your home. Factor in day/night lighting conditions, flooring, built ins, any natural elements, etc. Bring home chips in the cream, tan, beige, taupe, gray families. You can always buy sample sizes to apply to a test board if still in doubt. A crisp white trim will add to the clean neutral palette your home will provide to the greater number of perspective buyers.
