I recenly purchased a new quilt set for my bedroom and I'm at a loss as to what color to paint the walls in order to match it. the set is Charleston Chirp by Waverly and has a combinaiton of reds and oranges in it. I would like to go with a soft gold but am unable to find one that matches without being too dark. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would take it (or one of its matching pillow cases or accessories) in to my local paint store or counter and ask the clerk to match the desired color.

Good luck with your space -

If you are insistent in using a gold wall, I would choose that gold stripe on the backside of the quilt and maybe go a tone lighter.
The wall color shown in the picture is a sage green which also goes quite well with the quilt.
