I am obsessing over my master bedroom color. Crystal Springs (BM 764) looks so fresh and happy. I am worried it might be too much on the walls...
Has anyone used this? Any pictures?
    Thank you!!

Don't know of any pics of it. Not on any of the usual sites.

However, I have to say that you really need to be careful with this kind of sky blue and test it first. It's a bright, uncomplicated color and that can end up being hard-to-live-with. On the visualizer, it's kind of glowing. Sometimes adding just a drop of a neutral color brings a color down.

I had a friend once who was looking for something similar -- we repainted three times. sigh. In Houston. In the summertime. With no air conditioner. sigh.

hmmm, this pic is Soft Sky CC-807 (front wall):

similar, but a bit less green. This is Riviera Azue CC822:

This is Quiet Moments CC-1563 which is a bit more gray but still a very pretty blue:

And this back wall is Blue Hydrangea CC-206:

Thank you so much, Casey! Yes, this is the look I am after - very fresh and summery and peaceful. The pictures are lovely. Crystal Springs does look very clear and pure. So I ask the paint store to put a few drops of black in it or something?

If you go to the Pottery Barn website (or have a catalogue) Crystal Springs is the light blue they've used a lot recently. It does look pretty.

Thanks, Indygo-girl! Yeh, I saw the Pottery Barn pictures, but to tell you the truth, I thought they looked like they might have toned down the color in those shots. It just looks more gray in those photos than the clear robins egg color I have tested on my wall.

    We'll see!!

I wouldn't mess with it if you like it. Go with your gut feeling when you're looking at it on the wall.

HA! I had to laugh, if you only knew how many times I've repainted after a week of staring at wall colors!

OK - it's up now. It looks very pretty!! It is a bit strong, though it is light, but I think it is saved by the fact that this is a very well lit room with 3 large windows and lots of off-white trim. My bedding is also all white and my furniture is dark wood. I guess it has a "British Colonial" look, as it is a summery, tropical color, with old traditional 4 poster bed and all. You are right. Go with your favorite colors. I love all blue/greens, so I will love waking up to this color each day!!

Well, we'll see in a week I guess... Smile
    Thanks!
