my kitchen and living area is one space and my sofa and loveseat are a microsuede olive green, anyway long story short have hated every since I bought it last year.....to try and make things better (blend/work with the room) I painted the walls SW Believable Buff, and my Drapes and accent colors are Burgandy......My ceilings are 18 ft high and I AM not repainting for now. What would be a good color sofa to go with Beleivalbe Buff ??? please do not say green!lol.

Okay, BB is a golden-tan. It will work with other browns. A friend of mine has brown leather with it and it looks great. Any shade from cognac to deep brown works. A brown tweed color with some red and gold mixed in would be beautiful.

SW itself shows their Spiced Cider SW7702 which is an orangey-brown. And yes, olive greens work. As do deep navy blues which are making a big showing in the catalogs this summer. A blue/gold/offwhite stripe is available at Pottery Barn, I know. Also a denim for a very casual look.

I would also say deep reds, but since you have burgundy drapes, the red should not be so prominent on the sofa -- however, a pattern that has deep red in it would be beautiful.

I chose the BB because I was hoping for the golden tan look. The BB looks wonderful next to the Burgandy panels but but as soon as the sofa /loveseat is in the room the walls take on a green tint....my mother in law tells everyone I have a green/yellow on my wall..UGH....thanks have been wanting a brown leather sofa for years, I think your comments sealed the deal..lol!! thanks again.

oh my gosh!! too funny Becky I seen your photo bucket on another post.....I think I did find for beleivable buff one day and I showed my husband your pictures (I remember seeing the Coca Cola sign) and told him that is what I wish my wall had looked like in that picture, that I loved that color. I also have white trim and white 6 panel doors....but I swear the olive UGLY green sofa/loveseat throws the color way of and we have old dark carpet that is getting ready to come out Big Grin, I am putting in cherry floors. I have BB in the kitchen and it looks so much better. Thanks for sharing the pictures and LOVE the leather sofa with the BB.

My friend doesn't have cherry but does have dark oak floors. His kitchen is SW's Softened Green and the BB and the SG are beautiful next to each other. He has oak cabs in the kitchen.
