I try to post this every year. In 1997 I got a blank journal book (saw the idea in a magazine) and it became The Thanksgiving Book. It lives at my brother's, where we have dinner every year.
We invite everyone who's at dinner to write in the book. It can be as short as "Good Grub" which my late dad wrote, to a whole page musing over the new babies in the family. We try to put the weather in there.
It's so much fun to read over! My nephews were little kids when we started, they're all grown up with kids now.
Just an idea.
A very good idea!
Friends divide our sorrows and multiply our joys.
