I wasn't sure how to do the face so I just took a picture of a scarecrow I had and enlarged it on sticky paper and put it on the fabric..I might have to do an iron-on if this doesn't stay. I am happy with it. I just have to put my sign - Pumpkins for Sale on the metal.
I just noticed I left an orange piece of fabric on his shoulder...hahaha, One down and about 2 to go! Plus I am making a robot.

Very cute scarecrow. Obviously, you put a lot of thought and time into making her.

Nice scarecrow, you did a great job making it.
For the face you can take a piece of muslin material, and make a fabric triangle for the eyes and nose. for the mouth take a pencil and draw a mouth, and stitch over it with black embrodery thread.

I am still working on the face. This is the non-scary one. I will be having a scary one - or should I say, eerie one. I got the idea while driving. I saw this person in a raincoat with a hood up and they were facing with their back to me waiting for a bus. It looked really creepy because it wasn't moving-just standing there. Kinda like (if you saw the movie Excorcist, the picture of the silhouette standing under the light. My dog, Chico did not like it. He was growling and barking like no tomorrow!

Very cute! Went walking with a little sweetheart in a stroller who ooohed and aaahed at all the scarecrows. She would've done the same with this one. Nice job!

That is almost too good to be called a scarecrow! Looks like you did a professional job and it is very cute and should last you years!

OK, my post disappeared! Confused
I said that scarecrow is too cute to be scary...love the whole look, checkered shirt, old jeans and suspenders. Can't wait to see the robot!

Oh I just noticed the crow on his head...LOL! I guess he thinks he's cute too. Big Grin
