I have several autum/fall tablecloths and napkins that I like to use. Have been known to mix up the napkins and not use the exact match to the cloth.

A lot depends on time to decorate. I am not the most organized person. I have collected some pumpkins of different materials that can be used. Table not large enough for a large centerpiece and the food too, so keep it small. Some fake leaves and candles are usually used too.

Usually just set the table with everyday white plates with my late Mom's stainless. I do have some inexpensive stem glasses for the iced tea. The grands like those. Last year may have used some of my wedding china. Didn't get complete plate settings. When the grands were very small, didn't use the china. Will use the china plates this year if I have time to wash them. They are white with platinum edging. Our dinner is tomorrow, so better get off here and get busy.

To me, just having tablecloths and napkins just used for the Thanksgiving meals make it special imho. Use different tablecloths and napkins for Christmas or for other special events like birthdays etc.

So just do a few things so don't go for elaborate decorating. I do enjoy seeing what others do.

I'll have a large vase with fall flowers and display my collection of small pumpkins. I also use small yellow vases in which I insert candles. White linen tablecloth and blue and white dishes. The blues and the oranges go well together.

Wish I had asked you to take a photo of your table. Love white tablecloths! I would like the fall colors with the blue dishes, too.

Hope everyone has had a great day today.
