I am so tired of the approval process for comments. It used to take an hour or 2. Then it took up to 24 hours. Now, comments are not posting at all. It's very frustrating. And very hard to recreate comments, especially if you included links to rug or furniture ideas. What is going on HGTV? Is no one supervising your ONE comment approver? Or no one filling in when that person is on vacation? This site used to be enjoyable, especially when you commented and like magic it appeared. We are all adults. If there is a snide comment all one has to do is FLAG or REPORT it to have it removed. This preapproval is ridiculous, especially when it takes a day to show up, or doesn't show up at all.

What are you putting in your posts that they require approval? I've posted thousands of posts and probably less than 1% have been screened. When it happens I use the back button and edit out the offending word. It is usually something they are regarding as p o l i t i c a l, the word itself would be censored had I not spaced it out. As far as deleting your account since you only have 4 posts just delete your posts and don't come back and post more.

General Disclaimer

Any advice given here is general in nature and is not necessarily valid for your given area. If in doubt check with your local codes enforcement department for what is required when doing electrical, plumbing or structural work on your house. Permits may or may not be required in your area and home owners may not be able to DIY some tasks. I have no way of knowing if you have the skills needed to complete the tasks you are asking about, when in doubt seek professional assistance.

I am not an employee of HGTV, nor is anyone else that posts here.

My advice may be worth exactly what you pay me for it. :-) For the record I did not stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.
