I have been a member on this site since almost the beginning. One of the things I like is being able to leave and receive comments. Recently, when posting a comment, it says it has to be approved and to please wait. I have waited for up to 10 mins without it's approval. Can something be done about this?

cargo, something new happened to one of my comments yesterday. I used an apparent trigger word when discussing my MD probing my skin with a pin, but rather than get the message you mention, the word was bleeped like this ****ing. I thought perhaps there has been a change in policy for the better????

It seems like we don't have anyone to complain to anymore. What is up with that? Confused

I've had posts the got hit by a trigger word that was not a foul word. If you hit your right mouse button on the window when it says your post needs to be reviewed it will go back to your post and you can edit the text.

Words that deal with off-topic subjects will trigger. I'd love to see their list but I do know pol-i-tics, re-lig-ion will trigger, even putting a word in such as pre-i-dent will trigger your post because the system thinks you're going pol-i-tical. Spaces like this usually get it past the system. We'll see if it worked.

General Disclaimer

Any advice given here is general in nature and is not necessarily valid for your given area. If in doubt check with your local codes enforcement department for what is required when doing electrical, plumbing or structural work on your house. Permits may or may not be required in your area and home owners may not be able to DIY some tasks. I have no way of knowing if you have the skills needed to complete the tasks you are asking about, when in doubt seek professional assistance.

My advice may be worth exactly what you pay me for it. :-) For the record I did not stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Sadly I don't leave any comments.....have to approved and I can't sit and wait 10 minutes or more before going on to the next page. I am sure there are a lot more like me out there.

Apparently this site believes in censorship and if a comment doesn't pass muster then bye bye comment before it ever makes it onto the page. I commented that I thought a room's before and after were very similar and I received an email from the moderator gods that my comment was not suitable to post and to please try again leaving a more suitable comment. I guess they don't want people to receive constructive criticism. This is why so many have left and gone to other websites. I would imagine this comment will either be edited or removed altogether and I shall be put in the design corner.

My complaint, what happened to the feature that when you read a post it would show up lighter so you know that you read it before. I am opening posts that I read before , not enjoying the site as much.

I will never again watch Love it or list it. You make both the designer and the broker look like incompetent idiots who (show's formula)lie to the clients. This show degrades HGTV.
