good luck with finding a help group. if you find one, I wanna join too. I'm so addicted to buying new plants, that I just can't seem to stop. of course it helps that we have some amazing garden centers around here. 2 family run centers & 3 big box store types, that I seem to find my way to at least once a week. & I love the clearance racks. I just found 4 new plants tonight on the clearance rack at lowe's for only $1.79 a piece. now, that's a deal.

Well, I for one don't have a "problem" with buying plants. My "problem" is that I just don't have yard to put them in. =o)

Yeah, well if you find that group, please let me know will you?? I can't go near a garden center without buying something. I want everything! I've already spent over $300 on plants this year and I haven't even bought my 7 yards of mulch yet, or the four pots I have left to fill! Eek

Well, I do the same thing. I bought 6 large annuals this morning. 3 New Guine Impatiens and 3 large pink flowered petunias. I try not to begrudge myself flowers because I love them so much.

I think we are all liars....one big group of "I need therapy" liars! LOL! Pots, annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees...you name it.

I hear it leads to more serious things like edging, rocks, patio pavers, fountains, ponds, metal birds, huge urns and statues.

One day you'll see me homeless on the street pushing a shopping cart with one big Kalanchoe in it. (hey...they are drought tolerant)

I don't want to join a group cause I don't want to 'reform'! LOL

I have with great difficulty restrained myself but this weekend I'm going to go wild! Not a lot of chance of frost anymore so I can chance it. Every garden center in the area will see me! I've already bought one bale of potting medium and will pick up another so I don't run out.

Gonna have fun! Wish I could say I have a plan but as usual I'll just wing it and buy too many! Big Grin

That is funny in the context you're using it, Z9, but I can't help but be a little sad when I hear that Amy Winehouse song...if she'd gone to rehab, perhaps it wouldn't have been such a waste of a young life! Frown

I didn't lie but I did go shopping today! I had filling one pot in mind....I got stuff for that pot - 5 things, 2 other plants for who knows where & a lantana to try by the mailbox! And I got 4 bags of potting soil & 4 bags of composted cow manure!
I'm back in business now...I had run out of stuff to pot things up with...can't have that!

I went shopping yesterday too, Karen. I tried to take stock of what containers I had to fill, and it's always more than I think I have, but definitely less than I got last year. I hit the sales at Lowe's and HD for their .88 and .99 cent annuals. Still, it added up in no time! Frown

Well, no use crying over it now...off to plant something! Smile

You're right....and I can think of a few more "celebs" that if they don't get serious and turn their lives around they won't have lives. We've lost so many due to drugs...be it legal or illegal.
