What's your favorite combo? Please share pictures if you can.

Here's one of my favorites from last year. I have no idea exactly what's in there except:
    Wave petunias
    geranium
    sweet allysum (I think)

Very pretty Dodie. I have to ask, is that in full sun?

I always get mixed info on Coleus and caladium. Most sights say Caladiums are more shade plants and Coleus are more sun, HOWEVER, I see it either way.

Loved seeing those; look forward to seeing others. I bought a plant stand at a recent home show and I spent Sat. looking for different plants to put in it. I found some at a local nursery that is so fun to visit. They're a little pricey but they more than than just the run-of-the-mill petunias, impatients, etc. that Wally World and even HD sells. As soon as I get it planted I'll post pics. Their site is amazingplantstand.biz. I didn't pay as much as it's listed on the web site - I guess because it was at a home show.

(ignore the peeling paint on the door trim)

This was my favorite. Sun Coleus most from the "stained glass" variety.

Purple sweet potato vine is in the front. All the rest are coleus for sun. Moste were from the "stained glass" line. I just chose a bunch of chartreuse and purple ones. The darkest ones are the new (at least around here) thin ones. I will see if I can find a real name for them later and I will post it.

I found this one that is close to the dark purple one. Not sure if it is exactly the variety I had.

    cndlou3-
If you go to that website you can look at lots of color combinations of coleus.

I just made sure they were all for full sun and then I arranged them how I thought they would look good. Feel free to use my photo and take it to your local greenhouse.

Let me know if you have more questions about that container. Hope it helped.
