I still wanted to give away many Philodendron cuttings that I have. I decided to ask if anyone at work wanted some cuttings. Seven people wanted cuttings, so I am bringing them to work. How do I wrap them up so they stay safe and moist until the end of the day?
I was planning on doing either of 2 things. I was going to wrap the Philodendron cuttings in wet paper towels and put in a plastic bag or I was going to wrap the cuttings in a wet paper towel and put in a water bottle for transport.
(With a little bit of water on the bottom to keep it moist). I wanted to bring in a bunch of cuttings for several co-workers. How would you wrap them up? Thanks!!!

I usually do it the first way but the second way sounds viable to me also.

I have mailed cuttings using your wet paper towel/zip lock bag method....they traveled well through the US postal service, so they should do well going to your office.

the second method would probably work well too...good luck.

I agree w/everyone else...wet paper towel & plastic bag. I received one from Vera that way & generally send starts or cuttings that way when I ship too...USPS. I got some from Utah not long ago the same way & they were fine.
