We probably talk to her online! She seems to be an addict just like all of us! Hahaa Where's the door? This message has been edited. Last edited by: muddyshoes,
WOW! Pretty, but a liiiiiiiitle bit too much, in my opinion.
In the town where we used to live, there was a lovely old Victorian home on a busy street that we used to drive by almost daily. Obviously the lady enjoyed gardening, because she had beautiful flowers of every kind. Over the years, though, as she kept adding and adding and aaaaaddddddiiiiiinnnnnggggg....it became an eyesore. She had a gigantic suit of armour on the porch and a huge twig giraffe in the yard and balls of stuff hanging from metal hangers...you name it, she stuffed it into that yard! It ended up being a big joke and not attractive at all.
I drove by there last time I was in town, and it was obvious that either someone else lives there now, or she found a cure to her addiction! It's now lovely again!!

Love pinks and purples but WHERE IS THE HOME?! We have a house a few blocks away that while flowers are lacking, the greenery planted 50 years ago took over and literally cannot see the house...driveway still clear so peeps come and go but the backyard looks much the same. Guess people can't complain from the grass being too long...CAN'T locate that either!!!
Sometimes LESS is more....
LOL Karen a full suit of armor?!?! Maybe she ran off with it's former inhabitant and has no more time to garden...This message has been edited. Last edited by: GreenAlice,

WOW-WEE, OMG that is a bit too much me thinks! I love pretty flowers, but I love my windows more and love looking outside. Think about all the creepy-crawlees along her windows all day long (& she can't open her windows all spring/summer either) Maybe it's too hot and she never opens them anyway! I hate to see Shrubs that are overgrown and/or planted too close to windows and block the windows. It's amazing how many people don't mind having their shrubs blocking their windows. I know it's a pain to remove overgrown shrubs, but they can be pruned back severely and will rebound nicely the following spring. Hazel, funny story about that woman. I think she prolly passed away and her house was sold. A zebra doesn't change it's stripes, right?!
