Wave Hi there!
Wow, that's a big web and would definitely freak me out! I was actually thinking of others on here the other day when I went outside and saw alot of random lil webs all over the place. Yes, I have to agree, there seems to be more spider webs this year.
I just found one in the kitchen near the floor, that I just knocked away. It's amazing how spiders just set up shop anywhere. And ANNOYING!!! I was so proud I cleaned and swept and washed the floor around the computer area the other day. Finally got rid of extended families of spiders that I know are hiding here. (It took me a long time to tackle this area.) Been putting it off forever and ever. Finally bit the dust, err, I mean webs!!! Have some boxes around here, and anywhere boxes are, spider are. They are teeny, weeny things, not like the ones I see outside, thank gQQdness! Big Grin I'm afraid to tackle the GARAGE again! I swept that a few weeks ago. Eek Wow, it's going to be a very good year, look at the cleaning I did! Wink
It's nice to be thought of, nevertheless! Thanks Muddy! Big Grin

Wow, that's a big web........wonder what kind of spider built it.

Wavy, I agree about the spiders.....they are fast builders too. I just swept down the ceilings one day last week, the next day I started to turn on a lamp and there was a long web from the curtain valance going down to the top of the lamp shade. What the Censored

Then there's the corners of the bathroom windows, between the glass and the wood frame. Where do those tiny little webs come from and where's the spiders that built them. I sprayed everything with spider spray...nearly choked to death so had to raise the windows for a bit to clear the air.......which I'm sure, only invited more spiders in to build more webs.

Halloween isn't as bad as Christmas! I was in Hobby Lobby last week and they already had an entire section dedicated to Christmas. UGH!

Ok, I hope Wavy comes back to this post. I took a neat web picture yesterday. Noticed it beside my snowball bush. Must be some sort of ground spider, the tunnel is really deep.

Vera, What IS that?!!! Eek I never saw something like that before in my life! (being a city gal has it's advantages I guess! Wink)
So that tunnel is on ground level, so who/what dug that tunnel, a spider? Or was the hole made by a skwirl or other animal and then the 'ground spider' saw an opportunity to build a web there and did? Surely, a spider can't dig a tunnel, right??? (never heard of a 'ground spider' before, didn't run into too many spiders where I used to live before!!!)
