Here's a picture of the little orange guy who has driven the hummers away, now he's got his own feeder, orange of course. ![]()

Is he a Baltimore Oriole?

Wish those guys would stick around here. See maybe one few weeks ago then nothing. Think the catbirds claimed the territory. Thinking of changing where I hang it.

I have seen some of those guys here, too, but they don't stay either..... Judge not, you don't know their story.

We get hooded orioles here. Last year they weren't here too long, but this year there is a pair that are draining their feeder dry. Summers are just this side of hell, but you don't have to shovel sunshine... Click on the left to show albums http://s76.photobucket.com/use...brary/?sort=3&page=1

WOW ~~~ YOU!!!! I'm so jealous! How cute is he?!! "Those that throw mud, lose ground!" :>)

A beautiful bird! I only get them when they are migrating both ways. Had one this spring for just a few minutes before he moved on. "The soil is the source of life, creativity, culture and real independence." David Ben-Gurion

He is a Baltimore Oriole. I see him at the orange feeder early in the morning and again in the evening. I've tried orange halves and grape jelly in the past without any luck.
