Why izzit that, after you have spent several HOURS watering, because no rain in sight....a HUGE storm blows in, saturating everything you just watered with care....?

I love this thread! Fun! Why IZZIT that now when you go to the supermarket and are dead tired, you have this peppy cashier greeting you with, "Hello, how are you today" and then "Have a Good Day" when you leave? I'm not in the mood for greetings from cashiers and feel sorry they are made to say that to every customer. I hate when I go to restaurants, the wait person comes over and says: Hiiiii, I'm Justin and I will be your waiter today. I don't really need introductions. Just come by a few times and see if I need something and then disappear! (I hate chatty waiters/waitresses) I hate those half straws they now put on the soda glasses. Why izzit it my backyard can be nice and clean for a week or two. The minute I go out and clean up all the dead leaves and other junk I will notice brand new CAT POOP diggings? why itzzit that every time I'm in a hurry to get to work and have to stop at the store/gas station that there's some unemployed person buying (and scratching at the counter) their darn lottery tickets!
Why izzit that the weeds in my yard are flourishing and grow 3 times faster than the plants I planted? Has anyone here seen an Artillery plant before? We have a Texas Roadhouse here too....it's always packed. Fathers always get stuck with the bill. Yesterday DH's daughter and new SIL came over and cooked homemade spaghetti with meatballs....I got stuck with cleaning up afterwards! LOL!
